Working as a Subcontractor Focus constructed gabion baskets filled with
locally sources stone to help deliver this bank stabilisation solution for a
project in North Wales. The project was successfully completed on time and
within budget.
With increased groundwater extraction and water courses running dry in the
summer the sight of dry lakes is now becoming more common. In this private
project Focus acted as main contractor to clear years of silt deposits from a
dry lake. Excavating down the original clay base increased the water storage
capacity allowing the lake to hold water all year round.
This complex and high profile church demolition was in Shrewsbury town centre for a private developer. The project included asbestos removal and soft strip, followed by a controlled demolition of the main building through the steelwork structure of the new build.
Focus project managed the development of this new auction site in North Wales for the UK and Irelands largest Auction provider. From greenfield site, through design and planning, Focus delivered on time, on spec, and on budget
Focus secured the groundworks package for the development of these
retail units in Shrewsbury. The scope of work included site strip, concrete
foundations and floor slab, external works and drainage including
attenuation. The picture shows the site nearing completion as the externals are well underway.
Working for the Environment Agency, Focus secured the contract to supply
material for vital repair works to the river Severn's flood defences. Focus
successfully supplied the specified materials under strict testing criteria within the clients required timescale allowing the project to crucially come in on time
